(Please ignore the 'Revlon', i scratched it when i dropped it... a few times 'cause i'm a clutz)
First Impression
When i first applied it on my face it feels really good, it dries pretty fast so you have to do it in sections (that's what they say on Ulta and it really does). I'd say it gives medium coverage, but i think you can build it up. It evens out my skin tone very nicely, also hide my redness. Since it is for oily skin it gives a matte finish, i love anything matte. However, when i first purchased it i completely forgot that my skin has been a little dry lately because of the weather, and that matte finish is kinda flaky in some areas on my face and it accentuate the dryness. But i cant really use the dry skin formula either because my T-zone is still really oily (mostly my forehead) and i'm afraid that it'll just make me shinier. You cant really rely on the SPF, just wear sunscreen and you'll be fine!
Overall i'm really pleased with this product, i love the consistency, i love the coverage, i love how it last a long time, and i just simply love it. The down side is only because of my weird skin.
The color range of the Revlon Colorstay is amazing. But my problem is, i'm an Asian but i don't have a yellow undertone like 75% of the asians does. Somehow i just figured that out. Whenever i took pictures with my friends, especially with a flash photography, my skin ALWAYS looks so pale compared to my friends, like edward cullen, i dont know why. I have neutral undertone but sometimes it looks pink, sometimes it looks greenish brown (like people with olive undertone). The color of this foundation is 110 Ivory, it's slightly too light for me since this is the lightest shade. I wanted to get Buff, but buff is too yellow, i feel like. So i went with Ivory because it has pink undertone. I'm an NW20-25, i'm not that fair so of course ivory is a teensy bit too light for me, but i'm still able to use it though. Fyi if you dont know, NW is slightly darker than NC because of the pink/red undertones. Here's a picture of me and my friend (i'm on the left):
( Please excuse the quality of this picture, it was taken with my ipod, also excuse the effect, i added a yellow tone effect to make me look more alive.
It was a super dark place and we used a flash from her cell)
Sorry for blabling on throughout the post!

* Does not come with a pump so you cant control the amount of product that come out
* The smell is not so pleasant, it's not horrible but it kinda smells like the chemicals inside the product. It doesn't bother me too much though (forgot to include this one!)

You should try this color! 110 ivory. A lot of people said it is meant for NC 15-20. It's a lot lighter than picture actually :)
DeleteGreat review! I really want to try this asap! :))
